Getting Selected
    Simply search for your product on our site and answer a few easy questions to receive an instant quote for your device. From there, you’ll be able to submit your item and send it in using our Freepost shipping address.
    Getting a quote from us and setting up an account is quick, easy and free. We also cover shipping for all purchasable items. If you would like to send us electronics for recycling, we will pay the shipping cost as long as at least one item in the shipment has a value of $1 or more.
    If you cannot find your item using our search bar, feel free to contact us and ask us why. Newer devices may not yet be listed or have been overlooked, in which case we would be happy to issue a custom quote for you. If you can find a similar version of the item that you have, you may submit it under that item - just let us know it’s not an exact match when you send it in.
    When contacting us about specific devices, we recommend including model numbers and/or serial numbers in addition to quantity and condition so that we can precisely identify which device you have.
    Yes, however, we are only able to cover the cost of shipping with Australia Post here in Australia. If you are outside of Australia Post reach, you will be required to organise and pay for shipping. Please note that mobiles from overseas must be unlocked and usable on Australian networks in order to be considered in "good condition".
Personal Data Protection & Privacy
    Yes. When you sell an item to us, we immediately wipe the data from it. Mobile phones and handheld devices are wiped using methods such as factory resets, while computer hard drives are reformatted and wiped before having operating systems re-installed. Similarly, data cards from cameras are also wiped to make sure that any photos are erased.

    We are required to lodge the serial number of all goods that we acquire and confirm the identity of our customers. The reason for this is to crack down on the sale of stolen goods and to help police track down lost items.
    Yes. We collect information including your name and email address to communicate with you and for no other purpose. We do not distribute any of your personal information in any way for any reason.
Environmental Questions
    We are able to reuse, refurbish, repair and redistribute new, used, broken and unwanted electronic devices. When we receive items in either working or broken condition, they can be reused for parts and resold. Recycle only items which we are not able to pay for are recycled with our ISO certified recycling partners and scraped for their material value.
    The whole concept behind this service is based on keeping electronics out of landfill and maximising their use before they become obsolete. When devices do become obsolete, we work to recycle and use the materials again and again. For every secondhand device created and reintroduced to the marketplace, a new device is not being manufactured in its place to fit that same need.
Selling Your Items
    We have a network of buyers who are constantly updating our prices. These prices are subject to fluctuate.
    When you receive a quote from us, it is valid for 21 days. This should allow ample time to get the items to our facility. If it arrives outside of this timeframe, the price will be adjusted to the current market rate.
    When you receive a quote, you’ll be able to tick the appropriate boxes to pinpoint the condition of your device. Scroll over each option for a more detailed description of the appropriate condition. “Good” items are those with all original intended functions operating properly and free of water damage.
    Most electronic devices contain water damage sensors. Once an item has been exposed to water, it is generally considered broken regardless of functionality. This is an industry standard as typically once exposed to water, gadgets will not last much longer and do not hold the same value.
    We conduct a fair and honest diagnosis of each item before we look at the submission ticket and we pay out items according to our diagnosis. In most cases, our diagnosis will match your submission and we will often pay more for an item when customer diagnoses are overly modest.
    If, however, the price changes to the downside by greater than either $25 or 25%, you will be notified via email with an explanation. You will then be given 7 days to accept or decline the repricing and have the unit sent back to you. If our emails are not responded to within 7 days, the device will be processed at the diagnosed price. Please see our Terms and Conditions for further details.

    We accept a wide variety of electronics for trade in, including smartphones, mobiles, laptops and more. We will buy your iPhones, iPods, iPads, MacBooks, MacBook Pros and iMacs. We also buy Android devices such as Blackberry, Motorola and HTC.
    Whatever generation your Apple product is from, we will take them all.
    Pretty much all of them! Apple iPhone, Blackberry RIM, Palm Treo, Palm Centro, Nokia, HTC, LG, Pantech, Motorola, Sanyo, Sony Ericsson, Samsung, HP and all the rest.
    We accept devices in any condition! New, old, used, damaged or broken - it does not matter what condition your items are in, if they can be used for parts or if it is possible to repair them, we will take it.
How do I ship my device?
    We have a Reply Paid account set up with Australia Post. When you ship your order using our shipping labels, our account will automatically be billed and it won’t cost you a thing.
    You can drop the package off at any Australia Post office of leave it in a post box if it is small enough.
    No, however, we find that items rarely get lost or damaged when packaged correctly. For high value items (over $100), we recommend upgrading to registered post for a small fee.
    Carefully pack into the satchel provided using newspaper, bubble wrap or something similar for protection. Original packaging also provides very good protection. If you have opted to print your own label, then it is up to you to find a suitable box or post bag to ship your item(s).
    Once an item arrives at our facility, it typically takes 2-4 days for payment to be processed and sent through. Occasionally, it will take a little bit longer when we have high volumes coming through.
    During the checkout process, you can choose to be paid via PayPal, or direct deposit to your bank account. You can also choose to be paid a higher amount via CatchBack, Catch shopping vouchers to spend on over 2 million products at Catch.com.au.
My Account
    We will send email updates as soon as we receive your item, once the item has been processed and when the payment has been issued. If you created an account, you can also check your order details and status by logging in.
    Creating an account is not necessary. If you choose not to create an account, all necessary information that you need will come via email. The option to create an account is there if you would like to be able to log in online and check the status of your order and/or submit additional items.
    You can edit or update your account information simply by logging in. Click on View Account Information and you will be able to see all of your payment shipping and account information. Simply click on the appropriate area you wish to update or edit.
